Where to eat in Tooting

This particular area in South West London is a great place to live. Tooting Broadway has been named one of the 10 coolest neighbourhoods on earth by Lonely Planet and I can see why! If you choose to visit this part of London you will find a mixed community that cohabits peacefully, endless shopping options and many nice restaurants and pubs.

I especially like the Tooting and Broadway markets with all their little eateries and shops from different parts of the globe. Also the choice of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Here you can find info about my favourite places in this trendy neighbourhood.

Rick's Dining Room

Rick's Dining Room is, definitely, the best restaurant in Tooting Broadway. One can expect good quality food and a good selection of wines; a cosy elegant venue and a great service. I have visited it on many different occasions and have never been disappointed! They also have some amazing ongoing offers.

Type of Cuisine: Modern British and Modern European.

Address: 122 Mitcham Rd, Tooting, London, SW17 9NH.

This little Lebanese restaurant located nearby Tooting Broadway underground station offers delicious dishes at very affordable prices. There is a lunch menu available Monday to Friday that will cost you around £8 (excluding service charge and drinks). Lovely place for lunch or dinner and great service.

Type of cuisine: Lebanese.

With restaurants in Brixton, Clapham and Tooting; Kaosarn serves traditional and tasty Thai dishes and offers a friendly service. No alcohol on the menu, so you are more than welcome to bring your own. My favourite plate is the pad Thai with prawns. They don't accept card payments.

Type of Cuisine: Thai.

Graveney and Meadow

Graveney and Meadow is definitely one of my favourite pubs in Tooting Broadway. Perfect to have a drink, to enjoy brunch or to have a nice meal. I love its quirky decor with iron boards hanging on the walls and old cinema chairs. During summer, when the weather allows it, you can sit in its huge garden.

Type of Cuisine: British.

This pub is another favourite of mine. It has different areas where you can seat including a nice garden. I specially like to come here for a drink or to have a roast lunch on Sundays. I advice you to book in advance, especially over the weekend.
